Please read both the seed guide and the plant specific sowing instructions. If you are unsure of the best way to germinate the seeds, DO NOT SOW ALL THE SEEDS. Keep some in case the germination method you use doesn’t work.

Plant Specific Instructions (Read “Seed Guide” as well): Place the seeds in a bowl with hot tap water and soak for 24 hours (cover the bowl). Sow 1/8 in (3mm) deep at 75 F (24 C) in a mix of equal parts moist peat moss and vermiculite. Cover pots/trays with a clear plastic bag or dome. Seeds require light but indirect sunlight. As soon as the seedlings emerge, remove the plastic bag/dome and keep out of direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist at all times until you transplant the seedlings into your garden when temperatures are at 75 F (24 C). Germination is erratic and can take up to 120 days. Salt tolerant. Grows in coastal areas. Grows quickly. The flowers are very attractive to butterflies. Resistant to deer, heat, humidity.
