Preparation (Pre-Planting Treatment)
- Soak in room-temperature water for 2–3 hours before planting.

- Planting Depth: 1–2 inches (2.5–5 cm) deep with the pointed side up.
- Spacing: 3–5 inches (7–12 cm) apart for proper growth.
- Soil: Well-draining soil rich in organic matter, such as a mix of potting soil, sand, and perlite.
- Light Requirement:
- Indoors: Bright indirect sunlight.
- Outdoors: Partial shade to full sun.
- Watering: Water lightly after planting and keep soil slightly moist but not soggy. Overwatering can cause rot.
- Temperature: Best growth occurs at 20–22°C (68–72°F).
Aftercare & Growth
- Germination: Sprouts appear within 14-45 days. .
- Watering Routine: Keep soil evenly moist but allow it to dry slightly between waterings.
- Fertilization: Use a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season.
- Dormancy: In fall/winter, Oxalis may go dormant. Reduce watering and allow the foliage to die back before new growth in spring.
- Indoor Growing: Can be grown as a houseplant year-round with proper light.
