Preparation (Pre-Planting Treatment)

  • Soak in room-temperature water for 2–3 hours before planting.

Sowing Instructions

  • Best Planting Time: Spring to early summer (or indoors anytime).
  • Planting Depth: 1–2 inches (2.5–5 cm) deep with the pointed side up.
  • Spacing: 3–5 inches (7–12 cm) apart for proper growth.
  • Soil: Well-draining soil rich in organic matter, such as a mix of potting soil, sand, and perlite.
  • Light Requirement:
    • Indoors: Bright indirect sunlight.
    • Outdoors: Partial shade to full sun.
  • Watering: Water lightly after planting and keep soil slightly moist but not soggy. Overwatering can cause rot.
  • Temperature: Best growth occurs at 20–22°C (68–72°F).
