Please read BOTH the seed guide and the PLANT SPECIFIC sowing instructions. If you are unsure of the best way to germinate the seeds, DO NOT SOW ALL THE SEEDS. Keep some in case the germination method you use doesn’t work. 

Cold stratify ALL perennials, shrub & tree seeds for at least 30 days unless the plant specific instructions indicate a longer period.

Plant Specific Instructions (Read “Seed Guide” as well): Warm stratify at 64-71 F (18-22 C) for 2-4 weeks. Keep the soil moist then Cold stratify at 24-39 F (-4 to +4 C) for approximately 4-6 weeks. If the cold stratification temperatures are not met, extend the stratification for a longer period of time. Alternatively, you can sow the seeds in containers in a cold frame. AGM Award. Lightly scented flowers attract a wealth of wildlife. The flowers are a magnet for bees and berries attract many species of birds. The small fleshy edible dark purple berries taste like toffee or caramel. Whistles can be made from the hollow plant stems.
