Please read both the seed guide and the plant specific sowing instructions. If you are unsure of the best way to germinate the seeds, DO NOT SOW ALL THE SEEDS. Keep some in case the germination method you use doesn’t work.
Cold stratify ALL perennials, shrub & tree seeds for at least 30 days unless the plant specific instructions indicate a longer period.
If you are not ready to plant the seeds, keep it in the refrigerator (not freezer).
ALLIUM CHRISTOPHII ALBOPILOSUM | STAR OF PERSIA
Plant Specific Instructions (Read “Seed Guide” as well): Warm stratify at 64-71 F (18-22 C) for 2-4 weeks. Keep the soil moist then Cold stratify at 24-39 F (-4 to +4 C) for approximately 4-6 weeks. If the cold stratification temperatures are not met, extend the stratification for a longer period of time. Can take up to 12 weeks to germinate. Alternatively, you can sow the seeds in containers in a cold frame. Read the Seed Guide for Perennials.
USES: Cut flower, rock gardens, containers, flower borders, naturalized areas in small or large groupings, attracts pollinators. Excellent for drying.
