Rampion Seeds

Rampion seeds, also known as "Rapunzel," are a delightful addition to any garden. This biennial plant produces a beautiful rosette of glossy green leaves during its first year and produces tall, delicate spikes of purple-blue flowers during its second year. Rampion seeds grow best in a sunny to partially shaded location with well-draining soil.

Rampion seeds are known for their sweet, slightly nutty flavor and are often used in salads, stir-fries, and soups. In addition to its culinary uses, Rampion also has medicinal properties and is believed to help with digestive issues and respiratory problems.

Rampion seeds can be planted in late summer or early fall, and the plants will overwinter, blooming in the following spring or summer. These plants attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds to your garden, making them a great choice for pollinator-friendly gardens.

Rampion seeds can be planted alongside other biennial plants, such as Foxgloves or Hollyhocks, to create a stunning display of color and texture in your garden. They also pair well with other flowering herbs, such as Lavender or Thyme, to create a fragrant and visually appealing garden.
