Seed Treatment:
Cold stratification recommended: Place seeds in moist paper towel or sand, seal in a plastic bag, and refrigerate at 35–40°F (1–4°C) for 2–4 weeks
Soak seeds in warm water for 4–6 hours before sowing to soften seed coat

When to Sow:
Indoors: Start seeds 6–8 weeks before last frost
Outdoors: Direct sow in spring after the danger of frost has passed

Light Requirements:
