Miro is the earliest flowering variety with mid blue colors that will not fade. 

Prolific and compact bloomer with intense colors. Attracts bees, butterflies, Hummingbirds and other pollinators.  Low maintenance. Plants will persist in the garden for many years by freely and sometimes aggressively self-seeding. No serious insect or disease problems. 

USES: Container Garden, Cut Flower Garden, Shaded Garden, Bedding, Landscape, Borders, Pots, Rain Garden, Front of the border, Rock gardens, Wild gardens and woodland areas or around ponds where plants can be allowed to naturalize. Interplant with spring bulbs.

Sowing Instructions (Cliff Notes version):  Germinates at 65-72 °F (18-22 °C). Light is required for germination. Transplant plugs after 4-5 weeks. Grow on at 48-54 °F (9-12 °C) night temperature to induce flowering for fall and spring production. Vernalization is required for flower initiation. After vernalization, begin forcing plants at 60-65 °F (15-18 °C) for 5-7 weeks.
