Lobularia also known as Sweet alyssum, are low, mound-forming or spreading annuals and perennials from seashores, disturbed ground, and stony slopes in the Canary Islands and Mediterranean. They have light to mid green leaves and from summer to autumn spread dense clusters of fragrant flowers in a variety of colors. The plants flower so profusely it almost hides the foliage.Frost hardy and reseeds prolifically. Sweet Alyssum is one of the easiest plants to grow.
